Tuca is an AI travel concierge for German- and English-speaking visitors to Rio de Janeiro. It answers their questions around the clock – and when a question needs a real person, we want to send them to you.
What Tuca is
Tuca answers the hundred small questions of a Rio trip. It does not walk anyone up a trail, drive anyone anywhere or open a single door. That part is yours.
German- and English-speaking visitors: couples, families, first-timers and people coming back. They plan weeks before the trip and ask again once they are here.
Which neighbourhood, which beach, how to get there, what a fair price is, where to eat tonight, what to do tomorrow. The questions no guide should have to answer by WhatsApp at midnight.
Take anyone up Pedra da Gávea, drive them to Ilha Grande, translate on a tour or get them into a camarote. That is your work, and we are not after it.
How the partnership works
Both directions stand on their own – you can take one and leave the other. Nothing is automated and nothing is hidden: we agree it by email, in writing, before the first guest.
Your clients get the pass cheaper and stop asking you the small stuff at eleven at night. You get something back – but not cash.
When somebody wants a trail, a boat, a samba night or a German-speaking guide, Tuca names you – with your link or your contact, right inside the answer.
Getting started
Tell us what you do, in which languages you work and which direction interests you. Email, phone or WhatsApp – whatever suits you.
One short written agreement: what you offer, what we send, what either side gets. No fee, no exclusivity, and either of us can stop any time.
A personal code for your clients and a tagged link for ours. That is how we both see what came from whom – and what is owed to whom.
Who we look for
Everything in Tuca is checked by people in Rio. We would rather have ten partners we would send our own friends to than a hundred listings.
Questions?
Nothing. No listing fee, no monthly fee, no minimum.
No. Work with whoever you like – and we list more than one partner per segment, because one guide cannot cover every week of the year.
For guests we send to you, the commission is agreed individually with each partner and put in writing before the first booking. We do not publish a number, because a four-hour trail and a Carnival camarote are not the same business.
Then you pay us nothing and we pay you nothing. Your clients get a discount code with your name on it, you and your team get free passes, and we recommend you back. Splitting a USD 19 pass would cost us both more in admin than the split is worth.
Through your key: a discount code for your clients, a tagged link for ours. Before launch we check that by hand – it is a small number of partners, not a marketplace.
Only what they hand you themselves when they get in touch. We do not pass on email addresses or chat contents.
A web app: you open a link, add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app – no app store. It answers in German and English, around the clock, from a knowledge base written and checked in Rio. A pass costs USD 19 and runs for 90 days.
German or English for the guests. Portuguese is perfectly fine for talking to us.
